The Denton
Black Chamber of Commerce is an organization celebrating years of
service to the Denton community. We embrace capitalism and all the
good it affords. The Chamber was established in 1995 for the express
purpose of helping with the “Creation, Expansion, and
Proliferation of African American owned businesses. We represent many
different facets of the community working together to create, grow
and proliferate African-American owned businesses.
All races,
political affiliations, and socioeconomic levels are welcome to join.
Our common goal is to make the "American Dream" come true
for all of its citizens. We also work jointly with the Hispanic
Chamber and the Denton Chamber of Commerce
on economic development and employment issues.
The Denton
Black Chamber serves as a clearinghouse, referral service, and a
small business initiation tool to better equip and inform its members
of current and necessary business requirements. The chamber also
promotes its member’s products and services and it provides
quarterly networking mixers to keep you and your business in the
public eye.
While the
focus of the organization is on the African American Community, our
membership is open to all persons irrespective of their race, creed,
origin or political affiliation. We invite you to join us in our
mission and to help us make our community, city, state, and country
the best it can be for all people. We thank you in advance for your
